Tournament Results, Mistakes, and Future Planning
Results for previous tournaments available on website.

Next month's tournament details still TBD; decision pending with Kevin.
Proposed format: two men's team best ball qualifiers for match play, fewer teams qualify than Mayor's Cup.
Rules and details to be emailed to participants.
Match Play Format, Rules, and Payouts Discussion
Previous match play lacked deadlines, causing delays.
No set timeframe led to elongated matches due to injuries and scheduling issues.
Proposal to set deadlines for future matches to ensure timely completion.
If a team fails to play by the deadline, top seed advances automatically.
Fewer teams expected, resulting in fewer rounds.
Tournament Format Feedback and Adjustments for Handicaps
Received more positive than negative feedback on all tournament formats in 2024.
No tournament had a majority of negative feedback from participants.
Plans to adjust formats to accommodate higher handicaps, allowing play from white tees.
Specific tournament at Shambo received significant positive feedback due to unique course and strategic play.
Communication, Email Reminders, and Member Onboarding
Emails sent mainly to tournament participants; some members miss general updates.
Website contains updated meeting minutes and schedules; not all members check it.
All new members receive a welcome email with website info, regardless of signup method.
Plan to increase email reminders for meetings to improve communication.

Tournament fees increased by $6; due to American Golf price hike.
Fee increase maintains same payout structure for tournaments.
Most requested tee time is 7:00; not all 80 players can be accommodated at that hour.
Attendees should note meeting attendance on sign-up form for priority tee times.
Future tournaments will clarify tee time options; early tee times may shift later in fall.
